In Loving Memory of my four legged little brother - Cody, who was

a therapy dog with both St.John's Ambulance and Therapeutic Paws

of Canada. Arlene's Enchanting Portraits offers $10 off any pet portrait

Some of you are probably wondering why I chose to post this picture at
the top of the page rather than some of the other portraits. It's because this is
my most awarded photo, and therefore the one I'm most proud of. Besides a
few local awards, it was also published by Photographer's Form in "Best
Photography of 2008", they're one of the largest Photography magazine's in
North America and I won out over several thousand other photographers!

Arlene's Enchanting Portraits has teamed up with Mary Kay! We will come

to your home and provide fabulous new make overs, and glamour portraits!

You'll get the chance to try new products and learn new techniques, like

how to perfect that smokey eye look, and once you're done you'll get your

own mini portrait session with Arlene's Enchanting Portraits. To help you

complete your inner diva there will be boas and elbow length gloves in

various shades for you to borrow, and on occasion other fun props. You will

receive a CD for each guest with her own portraits with in a few weeks of

the party, on average 6-12 photos per guest.

The unbelievable cost for this event is ONLY $30 per person! Where else
but here are you ever going to get a make over and portraits for that price?!

showing him anything at all. Being sexy and alluring doesn't mean you have to

expose it all to the camera, though some styles are more risque than others!

In order to provide some sort of censorship, there is a very limited number

of photos in this gallery. If you are considering having some boudoir photos

taken and would like to see a larger selection of my work in this particular area,

2011
- So far this year I've been pretty quiet, working on a coffee table book,
which I hope to get published... though I'm not sure how to go about that yet?
2010
- This years most notable achievement so far has been my first Art Exhibit,

at a gallery in Fall River, NS. Something I was very excited about!
- I have also launched a Facebook Fan site, where I occasionally hold

contests and have sales on various prints. Please feel free to join!

- This year I worked with Unigirl Canada on a bikini calender, copies

are available on their website (see the bikini models gallery for the link)
2009
- So far this year I have had 15 photos win "Photo of the Day", on the

Community Herald website, including consecutive wins on the 21st, 22nd

and 23rd of January! The first two were both photos of cats, and are

featured on the pets page, the third was sparkling ice crystals (on the

scenery page).
- I have had 9 photos published in The Community Herald's weekly

newspaper, four were published back to back weeks. One of which

is the foggy day featured on the secenry page.

2008
- Photographer’s Forum (one of the leading photography magazines)

chose one of my photos to be published in their “Best 100 Photos of

2008”. There were more than 3000 photographers entered into this

competition with no limits on the number of photos each contestant

could enter. The photo being published is of my husband welding, it can

be seen on the Adult Portraits page.
- In January I had my first photo published in a local newspaper (The

Community Herald). It’s the photo of my son sitting beside the snowman

we built, it's on the Baby Portraits page. They also published another one

of my photos on October 23rd, it's the fall leaves along the river featured

on the scenery page. On December 28th my third photo was published,

a photo of a sweet little dog beside a stuffed snowman (on the Pets page).
- The Community Herald also has a website where individuals can post

photos. The entries received each day are judged and someone is awarded

the honor of "Photo of the Day". I've received this honor 12 times in 2008.
- At the Maritime Fall Fair, I won several ribbons for my work. This year

taking home 4 first place ribbons, 1 second and 1 third, as well as being

named Champion in black and white for the photo of mother and daughter

on the Family Portraits page.

2007
- At the Maritime Fall Fair I took home 7 first place ribbons, 1 second
place, and 4 third place.

2006- At the Maritime Fall Fair I took home 11 first place ribbons, 6 second

place, and 3 third place. I was also awarded Grand Champion - Best

Photo in Show for the photo of a black and white cat sleeping in the sun

(seen on the pets page), and I was named Champion in black and white

for the photo of my elderly grandparents on the Family Portraits page.

2005- At the Maritime Fall Fair I took home 6 first place ribbons, and 2

second place. I was awarded Grand Champion – Best in Show for a

photo of my nephew (this photo is not on my website at the request of

his parents). I was also named Champion of black and white for the

photo of a white horse, which can be seen on the Pet Portraits page.

2004- This was the very first time I ever entered a photo competition, it was

at the Maritime Fall Fair I took home 4 first place ribbons, 2 second

place, and 3 third place. I was also named Champion of color photos

for the picture of a young woman in glasses standing in front of an ivy

covered lattice, as seen on the Adult Portraits page.

We are now accepting online payments for signed prints, gift certificates and wedding
deposits through Paypal. We will continue to accept personal checks and money orders,
but please be advised, your items will not be shipped until payment arrives and is cleared
by the bank. Weddings will also not be considered as a confirmed booking until the check
clears. This can take up to 7 business days (according to the bank), so please be patient.

Standard Portraits - $60/hr

These include but are not necessarily limited to - Babies, families, adults and pet portraits.
What's included in the hourly fee is a CD of all of the photos taken (minus blinks and
blurries), which will be delivered with in three weeks of the session date.

Boudoir Portraits - $100/hr

Unlike typical nude portraits, Boudoir is cleverly done to give hints of what's to come

without necessarily showing anything at all. Beautiful lingerie or matching bra and panty

combos, silhouettes or even a hand situated in just the right place, you don't have to

bare it all if you don't want to, to be beautiful and alluring. That's what boudoir is all about!

Classic and tasteful images that excite his imagination. (Some maternity shoots fall into

this category). What's included in the hourly session fee is a CD of the portraits taken,

which will be delivered within 3 weeks of the session date.

Please be aware that due to the nature of these portraits, a session often (though not
always) last closer to two hours rather than just one. It will depend on a number of
factors including, the number of poses you choose, costume changes and your own
personal comfort level.

Wedding Packages

We believe everyone should have magical moments of their wedding day and we have

kept our prices lower than our competitors in the hopes that we're able to make it

possible for everyone to afford to capture those memories forever! If you find our
prices are still beyond your budget please let us know! In some cases we will make
adjustments to our packages to help you stay on budget!

Currently we offer three different wedding packages, plus the option to buy additional

hours in order to make each package the fit your personal needs. All packages include

a small album of 4x6 prints for you to show off to friends and family while you browse

your portrait CD (included in every package). We also include free black and white

or sepia images, as well as several vignettes free of charge. The package will also contain

between 1-3 color enhanced images (this is when the photo is black and white except for
a few key elements, like the brides bouquet or your wedding rings for example).

Packages are undergoing changes for the 2012 season, I will post details when I have them.

Ordering Autographed Prints

All of my Scenic and Oddity photos are available for purchase as autographed prints.

Due to the various different cameras I use (and the mega pixels of each), some photos

can be printed in larger sizes than others. If you request a print in a size larger than it

can be printed without distortion I will inform you before printing.

Gift Certificates

We have different designs available depending on your special occasion, whether it
be for a baby shower or a wedding. Wedding gift certificates can be made out in
whatever denomination suits your needs. There’s no better way to make their day
more magical then insuring their memories are captured on camera!

Announcement Cards

We now create announcement cards for any occasion! For the moment we're only

offering them as 4x6 inch flat cards (not folded), but on the plus side our prices are

even less expensive than Wal-Mart, and if you don't see a template you like, we can

custom create something to suit your needs and tastes! Click here to see our current

Other Fees

Lost or Extra Cd's - Should you loose your CD and need a replacement made, or
would just like an extra for a family member the cost is $10. I hold on to digital images
for 2 years, after that time I may or may not still have your photos on file.
Transportation Fees - I hate to ask this further charge of people, but gas prices being
what they are in some rare cases I will have to impose this charge. This will be disclosed to
you before we agree to do a shoot, I do not believe in hidden expenses! And it only applies
to people who live more than a 30 minute drive from my location. The fee will range in
relation to the distance I have to drive, usually (but not limited to) $10-$20.
